RADIAN collaborates with Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertaking

The RADIAN consortium’s meeting with policy officers at Clean Sky JU during Clean Sky 1 Closing Event ‘Europe, Innovation and Aviation – Are we keeping up?’ in Brussels confirmed the importance of applying new methodologies for comprehensive analysis of currently dispersed information about Aeronautics and Air Transport (AAT) research and development funding in Europe. The parties will explore opportunities to consolidate information sources to assess full impacts of EU funding to AAT research. The broader methodologies will expectedly enable to identify problems behind regional imbalances in aviation research involvement across Europe for better policy making.
Clean Sky is the largest European research programme developing innovative, cutting-edge technology aimed at reducing CO2, gas emissions, and noise levels produced by aircraft. Funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, Clean Sky contributes to strengthening European aero-industry collaboration, global leadership and competitiveness to ensure that aeronautics continues to be one of the Europe’s sectors of excellence.
