The RADIAN project was presented at the third conference on TRANSPORT AND RESEARCH IN THE DANUBE REGION
Ms Miriam de Angelis from APRE introduced RADIAN at the Transport Research Conference in the Danube Region: “RADIAN – supporting the H2020-participation of aeronautical organisations from Eastern Europe and other countries” The conference went well with a good participation. The Danube Region area covered by the EU Strategy for the Danube Region stretches from the Black Forest (Germany) to the Black Sea (Romania-Ukraine-Moldova) and is home to 115 million inhabitants from 14 countries. RADIAN will analyse the aeronautics and air transportation (AAT) research potential in the Associated Countries, such as Moldova and Ukraine, since countries that were newly associated to EU Framework Programmes. Also, Serbia as a candidate EU member state has significant aeronautics industry worth to be considered in the framework of RADIAN. The event provided an opportunity to establish links with stakeholders from the mentioned target regions.
