RADIAN consortium at Clean Sky Forum 2017

Representatives of the RADIAN consortium will attend Clean Sky 1 Closing EventEurope, Innovation and Aviation – Are we keeping up?’ which takes place on 21-22 March 2017 in Brussels.

Clean Sky is the largest European research programme developing innovative, cutting-edge technology aimed at reducing CO2, gas emissions, and noise levels produced by aircraft. Funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, Clean Sky contributes to strengthening European aero-industry collaboration, global leadership and competitiveness to ensure that aeronautics continues to be one of the Europe’s sectors of excellence.

The goals of RADIAN project are well-aligned with the goals of Clean Sky programme. The RADIAN consortium works to achieve a more integrated European research environment in aeronautics and air transportation (AAT) where all supply chains fully utilise the possibilities of new and emerging innovative companies, especially SMEs to strengthen the competitive European position in the increasingly tight competition for global industrial leadership.

RADIAN will discuss opportunities for concerted actions with Clean Sky, the main AAT project under Horizon2020, and will contribute to debates about the future of EU policies to develop innovative, green technologies to improve the environment.
